About Us

WAVOCC aims to achieve a stronger voice for the voluntary sector; a better understanding and exchange of information between voluntary and community sector groups; and effective communication with health providers, social services, housing and other agencies. WAVOCC works closely with Worcestershire Association of Carers and Worcestershire Association of Service Users in campaigning and lobbying to maintain service provision.

A committee of up to 16 people representing a variety of voluntary organisations across the county are the Trustees for WAVOCC, and hold regular committee meetings. The committee can also co-opt people with specialist knowledge. Nominations and elections take place annually at the AGM.
