Additional workshop at WAVOCC AGM

There will be the opportunity to attend an informative workshop after the WAVOCC AGM on 10th July, commencing at 1.30pm.  All attendees of the AGM are welcome to attend.

The workshop,  'Next steps for Preventative Services' will be led by Kay Parry, Health & Wellbeing Manager, Joint Commissioning Unit.

The workshop will cover:

• Taking into account the current OP strategy and the Joint
Commissioning strategy, what do voluntary organisations see as the priorities for maintaining older people's health and wellbeing?

• If we were only able to spend money on one specific service/area,
what would it be and why?

• What things do we need to address in order to help some services
become self sustaining?

• How do we include BME and other hard to reach groups to ensure better equity?

• What are the options for rolling out models of good practice and
services to the rest of the county?

• How do we measure and evaluate services that have outcomes to reduce
impact on long term and acute services?

If you have still not registered to attend the AGM and would like to do so, or if you would like to attend the informative workshop, please complete the reply slip below and return to Kate Pursglove at wavoccadmin@btconnect.com or telephone 01684 575545.
