Choice and Control Provider Sessions

Worcestershire County Council's Adult and Community Services would like to invite you to one of a series of Choice and Control Provider Surgeries to support you to understand and plan for the adult social care transformation programme.
The surgeries will support service providers to:
• Access up-to-date information on the Choice and Control programme in Worcestershire
• Understand some of the issues, challenges and opportunities for service providers in the planning, development and delivery of services
• Access support, information and advice from local experts in relation to some of the key changes arising from the programme
• Provide an opportunity for service providers to consider their state of readiness to respond to Choice and Control, using the Provider Self Assessment Tool
• Network with other service providers to share ideas and opportunities for collaboration
There will also be a question and answer session with a panel of local experts and champions. The surgeries will cover some of the key areas of interest for service providers including:
• How to market their services
• Providing outcome focused services
• Working with service brokers
• Workforce implications
