Final call to interested social enterprises

If you are based in Herefordshire, Worcestershire or Shropshire and would like to join an inside enterprise support hub then contact Amy at brap to fill one of the last spaces remaining.

If you missed this the first time round then read on for more information . . . . . . .

Get INSIDE enterprise

What’s it all about?

Testing out new ways of growing and developing the social sector. It’s called inside enterprise because it’s support for people inside enterprise delivered by people inside enterprise.

Why would you want to get involved?

Research shows us that the leaders of third sector organisations, who regularly get together with peers to seek support, get advice and bounce ideas much more successfully grow their enterprises and move beyond survival.

And while peer support happens all over the region informally, we’d like to create opportunities for third sector leaders to come together in order to tap into the phenomenon of peer support.

How will it work?

Once you are matched with five other people, you will be allocated a facilitator who will be there to support your inside enterprise hub to find a good time to meet, help you to reflect on your challenges and aspirations and drive the process forward. Facilitators are drawn from a group of enterprise mentors who have been supporting enterprise development.

It will involve meeting with five other peers over the course of six months, to learn, develop and support each other over hurdles and dilemmas. While working with your inside enterprise hub you will also get the opportunity to link into free ‘expert sessions’.

Who is this aimed at?

This opportunity is aimed at people who are running social enterprises or third sector organisations, with a trading ethos. You could be in the first year of trading or your 10th year, but you should be the person at the heart of the development of your organisation.
