Dr Saunders will explain her role of Education Director of the BDA, and review the latest initiatives in the dyslexia filed including "The Rose Report", "Dyslexia Friendly Schools" and "No To Failure"
Introduction to assessment – the importance, and why and when to assess.
How Dyslexics Learn, updating multi-sensory teaching strategies for reading and spelling

Tonia Peters – The Assessment Process – information about getting your child assessed and understanding your child’s report
Victoria Crivelli – Making the Best use of ICT to Support Dyslexic Learners - looking at the latest and existing technologies.
