Eyes Right Project Workers - Vacancies across Worcestershire
£6.50 per hour - Sessional work
53% of sight loss is avoidable. As part of a team they will deliver key messages on how to look after your eyes and avoid preventable sight loss. They will also carry out simple screening of the eyes using a toolkit to identify if people need to visit their Optician.
Full training will be given.


Vacancies at our Worcester City Resource Centre



Centre Manager
£24,531 per annum- 37 hours per week
We are looking for a proactive, skilled manager to develop the usage of The Bradbury Centre for both people affected by sight loss and the local community. They will play the primary role in developing the range of training and support services we offer for people with sight loss. They will also engage with community service providers to increase the use of the building as a community facility to generate income to enable us to support more people with sight loss.
Previous experience in a similar role is essential.



Low Vision Coordinator
£7.40 per hour - 12 hours per week
We are looking to recruit a highly organised person with excellent people skills. They will provide administrative duties to ensure the smooth running of the low vision service and practical support to people affected by low vision including the demonstration of simple aids and equipment.
Relevant personal experience is desirable, however full training will be given.



Cleaner Caretaker
£6.30 per hour -Minimum hours 6 per week, with additional hours agreed in advance
Reliable and trustworthy individual required to perform cleaning tasks and be available to open up and secure the premises on an adhoc basis during the evenings and weekends.
Previous experience is desirable but not essential as training will be given.
This role will include a full range of cleaning tasks including cleaning a guide dog pen.
