FURTHER OPPORTUNITY
Two organisations will have the opportunity following the seminars to do further work with Meta at substantially reduced rates as Meta develops and pilots work in the Voluntary Sector. Meta will offer 3 days of consultancy support to 2 VCS organisations to help them in whatever way they can. This is a pilot venture which we hope to repeat in following years.
IN CASE OF DIFFICULTY
Meta has subsidised the half-days to make them affordable. The sessions will cost £20 per delegate to cover the costs. Should your organisation genuinely not be able to afford that, we will offer you a place at whatever you can afford.
INTRODUCTION TO META
Meta is a Worcester based national business consultancy committed to helping make a difference in the world. How do we do that? Well, in a nut shell, we help all sizes of organisation from small to global to become the best organisation they can be.
We believe that consultancy should be about enabling the people and organisations we are working with to become truly excellent (and independent) and actually our belief is that if we do our job right, then we’ll do ourselves out of a job!
Our expertise is in what makes a truly excellent 21st Century organisation. That means that we are excellent facilitators, workshop leaders, coaches but also pretty clever when it comes to change, leadership, excellent teamwork, and strategy development.
Meta is an ethical business with strong values that reflect its desire to help organisations (big or small) to grow sustainably, especially in our local community. We believe that work should be fun, inspiring and constantly evolving, and not only the business but the people in it. We have worked with some of the largest companies in the world from BP to Glaxo Smith Kline, American Express, Vodafone and the Virgin group.
Now as part of our commitment to making a difference in the world we want to make a difference in our local community. This is why we have approached Community First to offer this series of half-day seminars.
We would like to offer our experience to some of the people and organisations that are making a real difference in Herefordshire and Worcestershire as our way of giving something back. We have taken the decision to offer our high-level consultancy service to groups who would not normally be able to access such resources, as part of our commitment to making a difference in our local community.
To this end we have teamed up with Community First to offer you a series of half-day seminars (at below cost price) to give you a taster of what we can offer in the Third Sector.
Three half-day tasters will be offered on June 26th and July 2nd, at a cost of £20 per delegate per session
After these three half-day tasters we would like give 2 organisations from the voluntary sector the opportunity to work with us more intensively as a pilot scheme for Meta’s future work within this sector. We will offer 3 days of consultancy to each organisation chosen, and give over our time and skills in exchange for a fee that the individual organisation decides (which will be sector appropriate and less than our cost).
WHY WE’D LIKE YOU TO JOIN US
Meta has a passion. We are a fun, exciting and very different consultancy. We love what we do and we really want to make a difference in the world. We have a belief that everyone should enjoy their work and enjoy going to work. So come and join us, we want to offer to people who are making a difference in Herefordshire and Worcestershire the chance to sample our unique style and benefit from our years of experience in organisational excellence.
We have very different ideas on how to run organisations, and we believe it’s the way that businesses will be run in the future: people-orientated friendly, and focussed on sustainable growth. We’d love to meet you, and look forward to beginning a new journey in our evolution as a company with you…
