The Role of the VCS in Worcestershire Partnership Structures
As you may be aware from the article in the August edition of ‘The Voice’, Deloitte LLP are currently undertaking a review of the structure and performance management arrangements of the Worcestershire Partnership. Their work includes working with the VCS to assess the role of the VCS in Worcestershire Partnership structures.The Partnership aim to shape what Worcestershire will be like in the future by bringing together local government, public services such as health, learning providers, police and probation, voluntary and community organisations and local businesses within Worcestershire.
The Partnership structure is made up of a Partnership Board and Management Group as well as a number of Theme and Task Groups that are responsible for turning Partnership strategy into practice. The Theme and Task groups include:
• Children and Young People’s Strategic Partnership
• Health and Wellbeing Board
• Worcestershire Partnership for the Environment
• Safer Communities Board
• Economy and Transport Theme Group
• Culture Theme Group
• Housing Group
• Poverty Task Group
• Performance Management Task Group
• Delivering the LAA in areas of highest need Task Group
• Worcestershire Compact Steering Group
• Community Strategy Task Group
As part of the review, Deloitte LLP are keen to gain the views of members of the VCS from across Worcestershire about engagement and representation on the Partnership (including the Theme and Task Groups). Deloitte LPP would like to invite you to share these views and opinions through an online questionnaire which can be accessed via the following link.
We hope that you will be able to spend 10 or 15 minutes reviewing the statements within the questionnaire and make any comments against those statements where you have a view or opinion. The closing date for responses is Monday 14th September.
