WIC are now recruiting for the Worcestershire Infrastructure Consortium Autumn Training programme. The first course in the programme is

COSTING AND BID WRITING

19 November 2008

10am – 4pm

Arrow Valley Countryside Centre Redditch

Trainer: Alan Lawrie

Many organisations and previous course participants have asked for up to the minute training in this important topic and we are pleased to have secured the services of Alan Lawrie of Lawrie Mellor Associates to deliver the course.

Alan says: ‘This new practical workshop looks at two elements:

Through case studies and practical work we will look at how organisations can establish the full cost of a service and project.
How can your organisations develop and write useful bids that are relevant, sharp and make the case for your organisation?’

The course is designed to help people working in a tougher and more demanding funding or commissioning world. It will offer a range of practical and adaptable tools that can be used to strengthen bids for services and projects.

This course is subsidised by our funder Worcestershire County Council and costs are as follows

Cost:

Voluntary Sector Organisations: £30

Voluntary Sector Organisations with no paid staff: £15

Public Sector (where training is relevant): £115

£5 per person off bookings made before 31st October 2008
