Introduction
Understanding Health and Wellbeing is part of the Worcestershire County Council PCDL funded “SWANS” (Six Weeks of Activities and New Skills) projects that offers short six week training sessions delivered by Community Action Wyre Forest
What is it about?
Understanding how different health issues and problems can affect your mental health and physical well being. This course will be a very rewarding experience for participants and will provide opportunities for developing new skills, gaining greater understanding and confidence in living well, and learning coping strategies for both themselves and others, and also gain skills for future CVS and employment
What is the date, time and venue?
· Date – Starts Tuesday October 18th 2011 and every Tuesday for the following five weeks
· Time – 9.30am – 1.00pm
· Venue –Community Action Wyre Forest, Burgage Lodge, 184 Franche Road, Kidderminster, DY11 5AD

How much will it cost?
- This workshop is free to participants or their partners who are currently in receipt of most benefits i.e. Job Seekers Allowance, Council Tax and Housing Benefits, Working Tax Credit etc
