WAVOCC Member BILD recruiting Treasurer
The British Institute of Learning Difficulties is a national charity based in Worcestershire. They require a Treasurer to help them implement their new strategy.
BILD needs a treasurer who can offer one or more of the following:
• Oversee the financial operation of BILD in line with good practice, our constitution and any legal requirements.
• To report to the board of trustees about the financial health of BILD at regular intervals.
• To make sure that BILD's financial resources are spent in line with the charity's purpose, strategy, policies and governance.
BILD is seeking a Treasurer who has professional/business experience at a senior level, including financial expertise and business planning skills.
Trustees help us steer BILD in the right direction while using our resources wisely and meeting our legal obligations.
The role is right for you if you can offer something that can help improve the lives of people with a learning disability.
Trustees are unpaid, although we offer expenses for travel and to cover the costs of a support worker if necessary. Meetings are held monthly in Kidderminster.
If you want to talk about what it means to be a BILD trustee, call Mark Gray, BILD's Chairman of Trustees, on 07970 369827 or Keith Smith, BILD's Chief Executive, on 01562 723024.
For an information pack please call Jennie Jevons on 01562 723028, or email j.jevons@bild.org.uk or click here. Please see the attachment below for further details and the roles and responsibilities of the Treasurer.
