Worcester Alliance - Annual City Summit
8 September 2009, 14:04PM - 7 October 2009, 14:04PM
The Alliance is holding its Annual City Summit on the 7th October from 2-8pm at the Warndon Community Centre, and we'd be very pleased if you could attend. This year's summit is going to be the biggest so far and will be critical in deciding what the Alliance will be doing during 2010 so please make every effort to join in and make your voice heard.
If you can't make it then please arrange for someone from your organisation to attend. As always we are keen for member organisations to get the most out of the day so please feel free to invite relevant colleagues who you feel would benefit, and who would like to help shape the future of our city. Extra places are free but are also limited so they will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
After introductions and information sharing (including a summary of our year 2008/09 and a briefing on a number of new city and county partnership initiatives) we'll be breaking into workshops to discuss progress in meeting our priorities and decide 'what next?' The outcome of the day will be a revised Sustainable Community Strategy for Worcester and action plan for 2010. With top quality refreshments, displays from partners and plenty of opportunity for networking it should be a really useful and engaging day.
If you'd like to attend please complete the attached booking form and return to James Sommerville, Acting Policy and Communications Manager - Worcester City Council (by e-mail to j.sommerville@worcestershire.gov.uk or by post to 1st Floor, Orchard House, Farrier St, Worcester, WR1 3BB) by Wednesday 23 September. Full details of the day will be sent out following registration.
