Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust Foundation Trust Status update

Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust  write to inform you that they have today been advised by Monitor that their application for Foundation Trust status has been deferred for up to 12 months.

The principal reason for the deferment is based on perceived risks over the next four to five years. 

Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust are obviously extremely disappointed by the decision, but would like to thank you for your support you have given us to date.
